CSR - Medical Screening
It is a statement of fact that cannot be overemphasized that HEALTH IS WEALTH especially with the current economic situation of the country where people find it difficult to eat and not to talk of having to go for a medical checkup. As part of the 30th Anniversary’s celebration, M.D School on Saturday, 15th October, 2016 had a free medical screening at New Oko-Oba location for all.
The screening had about 220 people from the Community, Churches, Mosques, Passerby and Parents in attendance all of whom were attended to.
The tests varied from;
• Weight Measurement to
• Urinalysis ( )
• B. P,
• Blood sugar tests,
• Lipid profile,
• Eye Screening,
• Dental Screening,
• HIV,
• Hepatitis B and
• Neuropathic test.
Urinalysis is a set of screening tests that can detect some common diseases. It may be used to screen for and/or help diagnose conditions such as a urinary tract infections, kidney disorders, liver problems, diabetes or other metabolic conditions, to name a few.
There were also seasoned Doctors on ground for Consultations and FREE DRUGS were administered to everyone.
It was indeed a wonderful experience. M.D as a family believes that HEALTH IS WEALTH.

CSR - Environmental Sanitation
Few years ago, Olaniyi road used to be untarred and inaccessible to motorists such that parents at the New Oko-Oba Location at some point had to drop their children at a junction for the bus to convey them to the school premises especially when it rains.
But because M.D School is concerned about its community the Management of the school with the help of parents and God was able to follow it through to the tarred point at which it is now in 2007.
As part of her continuous CSR, M.D School had an Environmental clean-up exercise held at Oja-Oba market and Olaniyi/Sanni Balogun Street. The exercise was an interesting one, having most of the parents, staff and our Years 4 and 5 pupils both from New Oko-Oba and Agidingbi “digging into” the market and streets in line with the “safe and Healthy environment” Lagos state advocates. The Ministry of Environment and the Highway Managers were so amazing as their presence made the exercise very practical and awesome.
