The overwhelming success of the school team in winning three of the six events against fourteen other schools stems from the heavy investments the school has made in developing the pupils' appreciation for STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). At the 2015 National Robotics Challenge (NRC), MD School had ten teams, eight of which were equipped with the EV3 kit, the latest technology in programmable Lego. MD School went on to win one of the tickets to represent Nigeria at the 2015 World Robotics Olympiad held in Qatar. Furtherback in 2013, the school launched the Space Science Club, thus becoming the centre for all elementary space science clubs in Lagos State and an affiliate of ARCSTEE, the UN-affiliated Obafemi Awolowo University establishment with a mandate to stimulate learners' interest in space science.
Building tomorrow through educating young minds is not a joke. It requires lots of investment and a dedicated and selfless team. At MD School, we are prepared to give our best and to ensure the development of young minds and ultimately our nation.
