Few years ago, Olaniyi road used to be untarred and inaccessible to motorists such that parents at the New Oko-Oba Location at some point had to drop their children at a junction for the bus to convey them to the school premises especially when it rains.
But because M.D School is concerned about its community the Management of the school with the help of parents and God was able to follow it through to the tarred point at which it is now in 2007.

As part of her continuous CSR, M.D School had an Environmental clean-up exercise held at Oja-Oba market and Olaniyi/Sanni Balogun Street. The exercise was an interesting one, having most of the parents, staff and our Years 4 and 5 pupils both from New Oko-Oba and Agidingbi “digging into” the market and streets in line with the “safe and Healthy environment” Lagos state advocates.
The Ministry of environment and the Highway Managers were so amazing as their presence made the exercise very practical and awesome.
