The Ultimate Mathematics Ambassadors competition for 2017 had about about 1155 pupils from over 400 standard schools from Lagos and Ogun State competing. The program was put together by The Ambassadors Schools Otta, Ogun State.

Out of d 1155 pupils, Adesanya Jermaine, Oluwatayo Oluwaferanmi and Umenwa Anuoluwapo of M.D School, qualified for the final stage. Where Adesanya Jermaine came overall 10th position during this qualification stage.

Out of d 20 finalists, Adesanya Jermaine of M.D came 6th position and won a cash prize of NGN30,000 and NGN15,000 for his mathematics teacher; Mr Soyoye.

The first stage of d exam was on Saturday 21st January, 2017, second stage was on Saturday 11th February and the prize giving day was Saturday 18th February, 2017.
